SCU offers a robust student environment like no other!
Learn, live, and grow in Southern California.
Community Service
The sense of community you'll find at SCU is unique to most schools of chiropractic, and acupuncture and oriental medicine. Hone your skills by treating special event participants such as bicyclists, athletes, firefighters, and cancer walk and tae kwon do tournament participants through a wide range of programs offered to SCU students. You can also volunteer your services for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
Advocacy
Promote the expansion of your profession through involvement in groups such as the Associated Student Body, the Student American Chiropractic Association, and the Educational Advancement Committee.
Sports and Recreation
Enjoy intramural competitions such as basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, and volleyball leagues, and the Chiro Games — in which students from all chiropractic colleges compete in athletic events at a different location throughout the country each year. Campus fitness facilities — including basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a weight room, and a jogging track — also provide recreational outlets.
Campus Magazine
Contribute to the Campus Connection, a bi-monthly magazine distributed to the SCU community.
Clubs and Organizations
Expand your classroom learning, develop business skills, make professional connections, and enhance your physical and spiritual growth through educational clubs, professional organizations, and personal interest associations. Many student groups participate in activities throughout Southern California.
