RESJ Center Mission
The mission of the RESJ Center and initiatives is to resist systemic barriers by advancing anti-racist policies and procedures that encourage inclusiveness and belonging through progressive change on issues associated with race, equity, and social justice. More specially, by attacking antiracist practices, the RESJ Center and initiatives will challenge structurally racist barriers, policies, and practices that have traditionally impeded on the progress of marginalized and underrepresented groups.
RESJ Center Vision
Launched in the Fall of 2020, the RESJ Center was established to lead campus-wide efforts to increase racial equity, inclusiveness, and social justice to create a sense of belonging for underrepresented groups among the college’s diverse students, faculty, and staff by fostering a welcoming, inclusive culture and climate.
