President's Statement

Dear Students,

It is with great pleasure and immense pride that I extend an invitation to you to join us for the Los Angeles City College 2024 Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 4 at 5pm.

This momentous occasion will be held at the iconic Greek Theatre, a venue that adds grandeur to our celebration of your hard work and dedication. You join the legacy of more than 90 years of Cubs who have launched from LACC toward admirable achievements in their careers, lives and communities.

This year as we gather to honor the dedication, resilience, and success of all of our graduates, we are reminded of the power of education to transform lives and communities. Our ceremony at the Greek Theatre will not only be a testament to all of your accomplishments but also an opportunity for us to come together as a community to celebrate and look forward to the bright future that lies ahead.

I look forward to sharing this special day with you and our entire LACC community. Congratulations class of 2024. Know that you are always a valued member of the LACC family.

I look forward to seeing you on stage at the Greek!

Sincerely,
Dr. Amanuel Gebru, President
