About the VRC
The Veterans Resource Center promotes an attitude of collaboration within the campus and surrounding community to increase awareness and sensitivity to issues concerning veterans. The goal of the program is to create an encouraging environment by acknowledging, honoring, and addressing veterans’ unique needs, while helping them attain their educational goals.
Program Learning Outcomes - Through active participation in Veteran services and programs offered through the VRC, students will:
- Discover campus and community resources available to veterans.
- Demonstrate social responsibility through participation and involvement with the Veterans Club.
- Demonstrate self-advocacy skills.
