Social Work


Social work is a profession dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals, families and communities through evidence-based practice, advocacy and resource coordination. Students develop skills in assessment, case management, advocacy and counseling, while studying areas such as child welfare, mental health, aging and community development. These competencies prepare graduates for roles in schools, healthcare settings, nonprofit agencies, government policy and research.

Our transfer pathway is carefully alligned with the requirements of many top universities, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for our students. By completing our Associate of Arts Transfer Degree (AA-T) in Social Work and Human Services, you will be assured an opportunity to advance your studies by transferring to a California State University. Fieldwork Preparation

Our program is committed to providing our students with practical, hands-on experience through fieldwork internships in social work and human services.
