Ordering Textbooks (Instructions)

  1. How to Order Textbooks

  2. Start Your Order

    • Go to the top of the page and select "BUY".

    • Choose your TERM from the drop-down menu.

    • Then select the DEPARTMENT, COURSE, and SECTION for your class.

    • The required textbooks will appear.

    • Choose between new, used, or digital (DC) options, if available.

    • Click "Purchase" to add the textbook to your cart.

    • Repeat these steps for all your courses.

    • Once done, click "Continue to Checkout".

    Note: It’s best to place one order for all classes, not one order per book.

  3. Review Your Cart

    • Adjust quantities if needed. Set quantity to zero for any book you don’t want.

    • Look out for duplicates or different versions of the same title.

    • Digital terms:

      • (DC) = Digital Content

      • (PAC) = Printed Access Code (may include e-book or platform access)

      • (EAC) = Electronic Access Code (emailed to you)

    • Click "Update Total", then select "Checkout".

  4. Log In or Create an Account

    • You must log in to your Bookstore account (not your campus login).

    • If you don’t have one, select "Create an Account" using your correct name, address, and a valid credit/debit card.

  5. Shipping Details

    • Click "Continue to Shipping Info" and verify your address and phone number.

    • Choose a shipping method:

      • LACC FEDEX GROUND-CALIFORNIA

      • LACC PICK UP BY APPOINTMENT

    Note: FedEx does not call when delivering. If your location isn’t secure, choose the Pick-Up option.
    The CubStore is not responsible for packages after FedEx delivers them.

    • Use the "Shipping Instructions" field for:

      • Special delivery notes (e.g. “Leave with manager”)

      • Funding source (e.g. EOPS, Financial Aid, TAP)

      • Signature request (if you want FedEx to require a signature)

  6. Payment

    • Select "Continue to Payment Info"

    • Enter credit/debit card details and click "Apply Payment"

    • Your card won't be charge until your order is processed. If part of your order is unavailable, you'll only be charged for what in being sent in that shipment. 

    • If you have vouchers that cover your full order, your card will not be charged. 

    • If you don’t have a card, visit the store or call 323-953-4000 x2142.

  7. Final Review & Submission

    • Enter your Student ID and Billing Address.

    • Scroll down and click "Review Order".

    • Double-check:

      • Quantities and titles

      • Duplicate or alternate versions

      • Your shipping address

    • Click "Place Your Order"

  8. Confirmation & Follow-Up

    • The confirmation screen is your order confirmation (not a receipt).

    • Your receipt will be included with your order.

    • Watch your email for either:

      • Pick-up instructions, or

      • FedEx tracking information

    • You cannot pick up your order until you receive this email.
