FYE Cohorts

LACC’s First Year Experience (FYE) Program offers structured support to help students successfully transfer or earn a degree within two years. As part of this program, each student joins one of LACC’s Guided Pathway Cohorts—focused learning communities that provide a clear academic and career direction.

FYE students belong to one of the following pathways: Social and Behavioral Sciences, Language, Humanities and Communication, Visual and Performing Arts, Business, Health, Child and Family Sciences, STEM, General Pathway, or Any Pathway

Each student receives a personalized Educational Plan that maps out the courses they need to reach their goals and stay on track to graduate or transfer on time.
